Never alone' day. Culture and the Elderly in a situation of isolation or dependency

Next Monday, November 22, will be the Day of Accessibility and Diversity Approaching Culture 2021. This year will revolve around the elderly in a situation of isolation or dependence and the Museums. We will delve into how culture and museums can accompany and help in a reality that has become a public health problem, loneliness.

At the conference we will have the philosopher Begoña Román, who will reflect on the Elderly and Pleasure, as well as the researcher and professor of psychology Montserrat Celdrán with whom we will learn the main problems and challenges that we face as we get older.

We will also organize a round table in person to learn about the importance of culture throughout our lives and especially in old age. And finally, we will present activities, programs and good practices of museums and the elderly in Catalonia.
